Patrol says alcohol suspected in fatal crash

FAIRMONT, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol says the woman who rolled her SUV, killing a boy and injuring two other children, may have been drinking.

Six-year-old Amonte King died Sunday in the crash on Highway 4 near Fairmont in Martin County. The State Patrol says 4-year-old Tejan Tapia was seriously injured and 9-year-old Yesania Tapia suffered minor injuries.

The Star Tribunesays the driver of the Jeep is hospitalized in Rochester with serious injuries.
