--A boy was born to Zach and Angela (Kane) Shannon of Chicago, July 21. Grandparents are Ken and Jeanette Kane of Burnsville, Minn., formerly of Bemidji and Patrick and Chris Shannon of Minneapolis. Great-grandparents are Esther Sperling and the late Arthur Robinson of Bemidji.

--A girl was born to Sunni Robinson and Juan Perez of Richfield, Minn., Aug. 8. Great-grandparents and relatives are from Cass Lake.
