Opening ceremonies for Dragon Boat Festival set for tonight

BEMIDJI - The opening ceremonies for the Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival gets underway tonight following the parade of teams.

The teams are expected to lineup at 6:15 p.m. and the parade is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.

Opening ceremonies will follow the parade. Crosswater will perform in the Dragon's Den after the ceremonies.

The morning session of races begins at 8:48 a.m. Saturday.
