One injured Sunday in area crash
A 26-year-old Bemidji man was treated and released at North Country Regional Hospital after he was involved in a two-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Beltrami County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Thief River Falls:
Nicholas E. Bahe was driving a 1991 Toyota Corolla north on state Highway 197 when the vehicle collided with a 2003 Buick LeSabre at the intersection with Carr Lake Road. The accident was reported at 12:05 a.m.
Curtis J. Obregon, 48, of Bemidji, was driving the LeSabre, but apparently did not stop for a stop sign and stuck the Corolla.
Both men were wearing their seat belts. Obregon was not injured.
Both vehicles were totaled.
