One injured in rear-end accident
A woman was injured after she rear-ended a vehicle Friday on Bemidji Avenue North.
According to a report from the Bemidji Police Department:
Lily Torgerson was driving a 1991 Chevrolet north on Bemidji Avenue at 10:51 a.m. when she stopped for a signal light at the intersection with 15th Street Northwest.
A vehicle behind her, a 1997 Toyota RAV4 driven by Anitra Beaulieu, did not stop in time and rear-ended the Corsica.
Beaulieu was injured in the crash. She was treated and released at North Country Regional Hospital.
Two children in her vehicle, 2-year-old Bethany Brown and infant Walter Reece were not injured.
Torgerson also was not injured.
Ages and addresses for the drivers were not included in the report.
