One group was missing from the Walk to Remember

Email

This past Sunday (Oct. 4) I was very pleased to see the article about the "Walk to Remember" held on Saturday at North Country Hospital and MeritCare grounds. It is so very important to acknowledge the loss of these innocent lives to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, newborn death and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

I am sure there is a certain amount of healing and comfort in participating in the walk and gaining strength from one another. I am so very sorry for the loss these parents and loved ones have had to bear and will never forget.

My other comment is that there is a group conspicuous in its absence from the list. That, of course, are the over 1 million innocent lives that are killed by abortion every year in this country. They are no less valuable to their loving Creator than the other precious little ones. We are all affected by these losses whether we acknowledge it or not. We should all grieve.
