Obama headed to Minnesota to make health care case
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota will be the focus of nation's health care debate this Saturday when President Barack Obama travels to Minneapolis for a rally.
The White House said Wednesday that Obama will discuss the stakes in a debate that has stirred deep passions on both sides.
The 12:30 p.m. rally will be held at Target Center, with the audience determined on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This will be Obama's first visit to Minnesota as president.
Minnesota Republicans derided the Obama stop as a "Hail Mary" pass.
