Oak Hills Christian College holds commencement service

BEMIDJI -- Excitement, anticipation, joy, apprehension ... all of the emotions of a graduation day were experienced at the Oak Hills Christian College commencement service Saturday at the Evangelical Free Church when more than 450 people came to celebrate with the 34 graduates.

Founded in 1946, Oak Hills Christian College is an interdenominational college located on the shores of Lake Marquette, south of Bemidji.

Academic programs include eight bachelor degrees that build on a base of biblical studies and add majors such as applied psychology, youth ministry, and pastoral ministry. They also offer two associate degrees and a one-year certificate in biblical studies. OHCC is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
