The renewable/alternative energy campaign has been geared up for quite some time in Minnesota. So have protests against traditional energy sources, such as the effort to build and transport power here from a new Big Stone II coal-fired plant to the west, and even in laying new pipeline through the Bemidji area by Enbridge.
