Knowledge Bowl Takes Ninth

The Senior High Knowledge Bowl team of senior Scottie Pierson, sophomore Isaiah Rahier, eighth grader Migizi Wagner, and freshman Evan Becker earned a ninth place finish out of 33 teams in Bemidji on Thursday, March 1.

The subregion meet will be Thursday, March 5 in Thief River Falls.

NTC Plumbing/HVAC speakers will be at Northome

On Friday March 23 at 11 AM Mike Norden and Jeff Brower from the Northwest Technical College Plumbing/HVAC program will be at Northome to present to juniors and seniors interested in these fields.

NTC has one of the only combined Plumbing/HVAC programs in the state. Students leave this program with more than one high-demand skill and as a result NTC has had very successful job placement results as well.

Communication Committee meeting March 26

The Northome School Communications Committee meeting has been scheduled for Monday, March 26, at 7 p.m., in the commons.

Carnival

The PTO Carnival will be held on Friday, March 16 from 6:00-7:30 at Northome School. Tickets are $.25 each, and games will be offered for a designated number of tickets. Band/Choir will offer a meal for a free-will donation.

Third Quarter Ends

The last day of Third Quarter is Friday, March 23. All work for Third Quarter should be completed on that Friday so that grades can be calculated and sent out the early part of the next week.

Athletes to Participate in Speed Quest

If you are a track athlete interested in going to the Speed Quest Clinic at BSU on Saturday, March 17, turn in your form and a check for $10.00 (made out to NKB Track) to Mr. Schneider or Mr. Lorenzen by Thursday, March 8, so that the information can be compiled and sent out to BSU. If you need a form, check with Mr. Schneider or Mr. Lorenzen.
