Northome Library News

The Northome Library Board thanks those who have stepped up and volunteered to help construct shelving and to put the books back on the shelves. More people are still needed, so if you are interested in this project, please call Pat Devries at 897-5265 to volunteer.

Two new James Patterson books published during the summer have arrived at the library -- Swimsuit and Alex Cross's Trial.

Touted as the scariest and most satisfying James Patterson novel since Kiss the Girls, Swimsuit takes place in Hawaii, and involves the disappearance of a beautiful supermodel. Alex Cross's Trial is rather different than most Patterson novels, as it takes place during Theodore Roosevelt's presidency and is about racism, oppression, and the Ku Klux Klan. It is a gripping tale of murder, love and above all, bravery.
