Northome Council holds regular meeting

The regular meeting of the Northome City Council was called to order following the closing of the public hearing April 4.

As there was no one present to address the council during the open forum, the agenda was then presented and approved as were the minutes of the March 7 regular meeting.

A report on the airport was next to come to the council.

The council voted to issue check in the amount of $4,500 to Allan Ungerecht for the purchase of the John Deere batwing mower, Model 1518.

Councilmember Mickey Guderian discussed customer complaints he had been made aware of. City Clerk Connie White was instructed to relay the information to Head Bartender Stradtmann to be dealt with.

The March 2012 financial reports were then discussed before they were approved as were the March disbursements totaling $52,091.02 and the current claims presented totaling $14,709.79.

Dog complaints were then discussed as was a past due water/sewer account.

A letter regarding airport issues was reviewed before the council adjourned for the evening.
