Northern Township project closes section of road for week

NORTHERN TOWNSHIP - A short section of Country Club Road Northeast will be closed to traffic for the week.

A news release from Beltrami County said the closed road section is south of Goldenrod Street Northeast, about three quarters of a mile north of Bemidji Avenue.

Crews, hired by Northern Township, are removing frost heaves and replacing a section of roadway. Detour signs are in place, no travel is available for those going north or south at the construction site.

Those traveling north from Bemidji Avenue North to Highway 71 North should watch for the detour signs.
