It's a day after Bemidji State's loss 35-34 loss to No. 7 Minnesota-Duluth after a missed extra point and I'm still thinking about it as I sit here and watch the Vikings game.
I made a mistake in writing my story last night and I want to correct that mistake now.
I wrote in my my game story last night for the Pioneer: "Replays showed Jordan Lardinois' snap hitting the ground in front of placeholder Andrew Schultz's hands."
The truth is, I never saw that replay. Because I didn't see the replay, I should not have wrote that observation.
When I was walking around the stadium after the game, I happened to talk to a few of the cameramen who were producing the KBSU telecast. The cameraman who filmed the extra point told me, "the ball hit the ground in front Schultz, but not by much."
I trusted his judgement and I should not have because I didn't see it.
