Nominations open for BBB Integrity Awards
Nominations are open for the 11th annual Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota Integrity Awards.
The awards recognize companies that show outstanding ethics in dealings with customers, employees, vendors and the community.
All for-profit businesses of any size, owned or operated in Minnesota or North Dakota. Nominees need not be BBB members, but must have satisfactory rating with the BBB. Nomination deadline is April 30.
To nominate a company, visit www.thefirstbbb.org; send the company name, contact name, address and phone number, along with nominator's name and phone number, to BBB, Attn: Integrity Awards, 2706 Gannon Road, St. Paul MN 55116; or fax the information to 651-699-7665.
Entrants are judged on four areas of business: management practices; customer, vendor, supplier and shareholder relations; marketing, advertising, communications and sales practices; and reputation within the industry and community.
Nominees will receive an official entry form from the BBB. Winners will be announced live at the BBB's 2010 Integrity Awards in October.
The BBB's Students of Integrity will also be recognized at the Integrity Awards. The program awards one $5,000 college scholarships and up to five $1,000 scholarships to high school students.
