The first workshops will be held in Bemidji from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 20 and 26 at the NMF office, 4225 Technology Drive N.W.

The Core Four Business Planning Course is designed to teach an aspiring or existing business owner the information and skills needed in four core elements of business planning: succession, market, cash flow and operations planning.

Starting with a business idea, participants will use Core Four to plan a business in real time. As participants learn by doing, the business idea will evolve by building in the details.

Registration fee for both six-hour workshops is $150. If participants want to attend future three-hour sessions of the course, each will cost $50. Scholarships are available in some cases.

For details or to register, contact Diane Morey, business development specialist at 759-2057, 800-659-7859 or dianem@nwmf.org.

Workshops will also be held in Bemidji July 10 and 31.

Workshop dates in Fosston, Crookston and Thief River Falls will be announced in July. Roseau and Warroad sessions will be held in the fall. Forms and updates are available at www.nwmf.org.
