Nimrod man dies in tractor accident
An 88-year-old man from Nimrod, Minn.,Clyde "Doug" Swanson, was killed in a farm accident Sunday.

The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene at 12:41 p.m. Sunday, according to Sheriff Michael Carr. When the deputy reached the victim at the farm on Wadena County Road 14 north of Nimrod, he was trapped underneath a tractor in the ditch. The Sebeka Fire Department and Tri-County Ambulance extracted Swanson, and he was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
Swanson was later airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he died Monday morning as a result of his injuries, Carr said.
