Habitat for Humanity to host open house
BEMIDJI — Northwoods Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 1357 Industrial Park Dr. SE, will host its sixth anniversary open house 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The public is invited to look around the store and see the inventory of repurposed and new items the ReStore sells to the public.
Sub sandwiches, snacks, cake, coffee and 1919 Root Beer will also be available.
Horticulture has new theme for county fair
BEMIDJI — This year’s theme for horticulture at the 2013 Beltrami County Fair is “Rockin’ With the Oldies.”
All specimens for open class exhibitors are to be brought to the horticulture area between noon and 7 p.m. July 31. Pre-registration is recommended.
Forms can be found online, www.belramicountyfair.org, in the 2013 County Fair Booklet, Bemidji Public Library or in the Extension Office at the fairgrounds.
