New shelter for Nymore

MONTE DRAPER | BEMIDJI PIONEER One good thing that will come out of last year’s July 2 wind storm is this new log shelter at Nymore Park using trees from the blow down at Diamond Point Park. Crews from Heim Log Homes, Kelliher, hand-scribed the support trees (beams) that sit on rocks, and then leveled the tops before the roof was installed. Shown from left, Nate Heim supports the tree beam as Pete Williams cuts the top. In the background, Jon Strom levels another beam top.
