New-look Playhouse: 'The Chief' gets a facelift as summer play season nears

BEMIDJI - It's a race to get renovations to the Paul Bunyan Playhouse finished in time for the opening of the first play, now less than a week away, but organizers are determined to make it happen.

Local businessman Chris Keenan, a member of the Playhouse board and the man in charge of building maintenance, is working alongside other contractors.
