N.D. oil production up, but not 1 million barrels yet
WILLISTON, N.D. – North Dakota oil production increased 2.6 percent in March to 977,051 barrels of oil per day, the Department of Mineral Resources said Tuesday.
The preliminary figure represents another all-time high for North Dakota as the state climbs toward the milestone of producing 1 million barrels of oil per day.
