NCBP expands into Chicago metro area

NCR Corporation and North Country Business Products Inc., the largest NCR retail reseller in the United States, have announced that NCBP is expanding its Illinois territory into the Chicago metro area to serve grocers and other retailers with NCR retail technology solutions.

Established in Bemidji in 1948, NCBP is 100 percent employee owned with 15 locations in 11 states. The company's expansion follows its acquisition of the grocery point-of-sale division of Chicago-based Merchants Solutions.

North Country Business Products began in Bemidji, Minn., in 1948 as an office-supply store. The company expanded into point-of-sale products 31 years ago, choosing NCR as its anchor grocery technology solution. The company has grown to more than 220 employees and is now one of the largest POS dealers in the United States..
