National Night Out event planned Tuesday night

BEMIDJI - The annual community-wide and neighborhood event National Night Out Against Crime will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club of the Bemidji Area, 1600 Minnesota Avenue NW.

National Night Out is an opportunity for local law enforcement to connect with the community in a positive environment.

The event is free and open to all youth and families. Parents are asked to attend with their child/children.

Local Target employees will be providing free food and prizes. Bemidji area emergency services will be on hand for youth to see vehicles, talk with officers and engage in activities. The BGCBA staff will also have family friendly games and activities for youth and parents.
