In addition to the free admission, Minnesota's state parks will be kicking off their Geocaching Avian Adventure, adding a twist to the popular global positioning system scavenger hunt by adding bird cards to the Geocaches, giving information about the state's birds.

The Geocaching event will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the park.

The 'I Can Camp!' participants who learned some basic camping skills this week are welcomed to take a pontoon ride down the Mississippi River from 3:30 to 5: p.m. and a guided bike ride down the Paul Bunyan Trail to the Mississippi will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00.
