Naomi Otillia Magoon-Colsen, 95, of Bemidji, MN, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Havenwood Care Center, Bemidji.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Pastor Kent Dudley and Pastor Andrew Ronnevik officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bemidji.

Naomi Otillia Olson was born December 2, 1918 in Oklee, MN to Oscar and Bertha (Quale) Olson. She grew up and attended school in Bemidji. On October 2, 1936 she married Ervin Magoon in Bemidji. They lived in Bemidji where she worked at J.C. Penney, North Country Regional Hospital and the Foster Grandparent Program as well as raising her family. Ervin died in March 1997. She married Edward Colsen September 30, 1998 in Bemidji. They enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her family. Naomi was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Delores) Magoon of Kelso, WA, Dale Magoon of Springfield, MA and Ron Magoon of Oregon; daughters, Judy Hoem of Bemidji, Joy (Charles) Heller of Bemidji, Sharon (Lyle) Olson of Delano, Gayle (Les) Mistic of Bemidji, Theresa (Mike) McKee of Bemidji and Cindy (Roland) Lundmark of Park Rapids; daughter-in-law, Alice Magoon of Blackduck; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Orville "Bud" (Linda) Olson of Blackduck and sister, Ruth Goulet of Peoria, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ervin Magoon and Edward Colsen; son, Jerry Magoon; granddaughter Jackie, (infant daughter of Jim and Delores Magoon); son-in-law, David Hoem and sisters, Clarice Evans and Rosetta Ekberg.
