Myrna M. Lauderbaugh, age 75, died Saturday, July 12th, 2014. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Bemidji, Minnesota with Pastor Lou Ellen Hartley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Frohn Eastside Cemetery.

Myrna Marie Swenson, daughter of Edward and Marvel Swenson, was born August 22, 1938 in the farm house of her maternal grandparents, Frank and Edna Walburg. She attended school at Carr Lake and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1956. She married her high school sweetheart Dean Lauderbaugh November 7, 1958. She attended Bemidji State College, received her Bachelor's Degree, and began teaching in Nary. They moved the family to the Twin Cities where she began teaching in the Centerville Elementary School, Centerville, Minnesota. After teaching for 38 1/2 years she retired in 2001.

Myrna had busy hands, knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening, and preserving food. She was a huge influence in the lives of her family.

She is survived by her husband Dean, sons Randy (Lonnie), Ed (Sue), and Roger (Loreal), brothers Fred (Gail), Ron (Terri), and Gary (Jill), and sister Linnea (Mike), sisters-in-law Rita, Nancy, and Judie, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Lynn.
