MSUM fundraising group hits new record

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Alumni Foundation raised more than $5 million the past fiscal year, a fundraising record for the nonprofit foundation that supports scholarships, academic programs and alumni events.

More than 4,000 people and organizations contributed to the foundation the past fiscal year, which ended June 30.

The total cash and pledges was more than double the previous year’s totals.
