MPR to broadcast Bemidji Symphony Orchestra performance

BEMIDJI - Minnesota Public Radio will broadcast a performance by the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Sunday, with the local classical music station, KCRB 88.5, carrying the broadcast for area residents.

The broadcast will include BSO performances of "Roosevelt in Cowboy Land" by Chris Brubeck, "Maple Leaf Rag" by Scott Joplin and "The Plow that Broke the Plains," the film score by Virgil Thomon.

MPR recorded the final concert of the BSO April 29 in the Bemidji High School Auditorium. A complete list of stations, programs and additional services can be found at www.minnesotapublicradio.org.
