Motorists urged to find route other than Roosevelt Road in Bemidji
BEMIDJI - Motorists intending to use Roosevelt Road Southeast are being encouraged to find another route for the next several days, starting this morning.
City crews will be working on storm sewer drains on Roosevelt Road, between Washington Avenue South and Railroad Street Southeast, starting at 8 a.m. A news release issued said the work could take several days and while access to the road is possible, motorists are being asked to find a different route.
"Due to congestion and workers in the area, it would be appreciated if folks would take a different route," the release said.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the road.
