Motley trapper dies in ATV crash

MOTLEY - A 66-year-old Motley, Minn., trapper has died following an all-terrain vehicle crash in Cass County.

According to a press release from the Cass County Sheriff's office, the body of the victim, who has not yet been identified, was found at about 3 a.m.

A report was made in the early-morning hours regarding the missing trapper; deputies and volunteers began a search of the area and found the victim.

His death, apparently the result of an ATV crash, remains under investigation pending autopsy results from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.

His name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
