Shortly after 11 a.m., officers stopped a car that may or may not be connected to the incident.

Owner Gerry Naylor said her staff discovered the damage when the business opened Thursday morning at 8.

Naylor described the would-be bomb as a mason jar with a cloth wick full of gasoline.

The cocktail extinguished itself after it went through a side office window.

Naylor and employees removed a large rectangle of gas-soaked carpeting.

Police retrieved the jar and a lighter used in the vandalism and are processing them for fingerprints.
