Missing Pine River man has been found dead

A 55-year-old Pine River man who was last seen May 24 has been found dead.

The body of Duane Paul Prokott was found Monday in a storage building in the Pine River area.

Prokott was last seen May 24 at the Amarillo House in Pine River. He was reported missing May 26.

The cause of death appears to be natural causes, but an autopsy will be conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office and Pine River Police Department are continuing the investigation.
