Missing Hastings, Minn., woman with Alzheimer's found safe in Wisconsin

HASTINGS, Minn. - A missing 76-year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease and dementia was found safe Wednesday evening in St. Croix Falls, Wis.

Frances Schultz of Hastings was reported missing Wednesday after family members were unable to contact her since 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.

Police said Schultz had a phone, but family members and investigators were unable to reach her.

When Schultz was found Wednesday she was unable to tell officers how she got to St. Croix Falls, authorities said.
