Minnesota State Patrol responded to two-vehicle accident in Mahnomen County

The Minnesota State Patrol based in Detroit Lakes reported a two-vehicle accident at 8:51 p.m. Sunday on state Highway 200 near Roy Lake in Mahnomen County. Elbert W. White, 25, of Bemidji, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Astro van east on Highway 200 with four passengers, Taria R. White, 22, Elise W. White, 4, Angelique E. White, infant, and Eldon W. Cloud, 14, all of Bemidji. The van rear-ended a 1988 Ford pickup driven east by Mary A. Gagnon, 34, of Mahnomen. Her passenger was Hayley J. Gagnon, 10, of Mahnomen. The van entered the south ditch and rolled. Taria and Angelique White, Eldon Cloud and Mary and Hayley Gagnon suffered minor injuries and where treated at Mahnomen Hospital and released. The Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office assisted with the response.
