Mimes create surprise in Bemidji

What started out Thursday as a fun evening of doing mime in their full body Morph suits turned out to be scary for Brekt and Haakan Thorsgaard. The youngsters, age 11 and 13, wanted to try out the effect of their new attire while doing some mime (gestures and actions to simulate words). The police arrived on the scene - Lueken's Village Foods South - because calls had come into the station about two people, dressed in black, who were acting suspiciously. A quick doffing of their hoods revealed the boys, who were practicing their skills. Patt Rall | Bemidji Pioneer
