HOUGHTON, Mich. – When Michigan Tech’s David Johnstone scored on Bemidji State goaltender Andrew Walsh just 48 seconds into their Western Collegiate Hockey Association matchup, it looked like the Beavers were in for a long night.

And aside from an eight-minute stretch in the second period, that’s exactly what happened: the Huskies dominated the Beavers for a 4-0 win Friday night.
