Mayor R.T. Rybak says Minneapolis put on a great show for the Super Bowl in 1992, and with a new, first-class stadium, it would be even better the second time around.

Convention Center officials tell KSTP-TV the Super Bowl is now an event that can last two weeks and pumps hundreds of millions of dollars into a local economy. An announcement on which city will get the Super Bowl in 2018 won't be made until the spring of next year.
