Dr. Angela Bremer of Explore Chiropractic has announced that Karisa Gale, a massage therapist, began practicing massage in her downtown office May 6.
Bremer says she believes "combining the health and wellness benefits of chiropractic care with massage therapy has positive outcomes."
"Massage helps to nourish skin, relieve muscle tension and increase energy, to name a few benefits," said Gale, a nationally certified massage therapist "I think everyone deserves a massage."
After completing her diploma in massage therapy at Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, Gale completed her Associate in Applied Science Degree in 2009, also through NTC. She obtained her national certification through the National Board for Therapeutic Massage in May 2009. Gale specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, sports and therapeutic massage, myofascial release, prenatal massage and hot stone therapy.
