Marjorie Linnell Beldo Attleson passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Colleen's Caring Hands Facility. A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, September 21, 2013 at the Village-Sebeka West Cemetery in Sebeka, MN. Officiating Margorie's service is Rev. Steve Koehne, Bemidji United Methodist Church. Condolences may be left at A special thank you to Colleen and her staff at Colleen's Caring Hands for Marjorie's exceptional care.

Marjorie was born to parents, Robert and Mildred Linnell on August 20, 1921 in Sebeka, MN. Marjorie graduated from Sebeka High School in 1939. There, she met her husband of 48 years Adrian Beldo, and they were married February 23, 1941. Adrian and Marjorie moved to a farm North of New York Mills, MN; where she worked as a secretary. Adrian died of complications following surgery December 21, 1989. Three years later, Marjorie was courted by high school classmate, Harlan Attleson after he had been to the Sebeka cemetery and noticed Adrian's grave marker. Marjorie consented to a marriage proposal, and she and Harlan were married November 21, 1992. They resided in Minneapolis, Park Rapids, and Bemidji where Harlan passed away October 31, 1996. Marjorie lived in a retirement community in Bemidji before moving back to the Minneapolis area to live with her daughter Lynn. She eventually moved back to Bemidji and resided at Colleen's Caring Hands. Marjorie was ahead of her time, with a strong streak of independence and ability. Her love of family, kindness, warmth, and quick wit will be missed.

Marjorie is survived by daughters, Bonnie (Roger) Hansen of Minneapolis, MN, Lynn Kelly of St. Louis Park, Kathy (Phillip) Mostad of Bemidji, MN, and son Robert Beldo (Lisa) of Coon rapids, MN.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a brother Roger Linnell, his wife Margaret of Lander, WY. Marjorie was also a special Grandma to Kelly and Desi Mostad. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Marion Weekley.
