Marcella R. Lussier, 76, of Minneapolis, formerly of Red Lake, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, after a short illness.
A memorial service will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at All Nations Church, 1515 E. 23rd St. in Minneapolis.
Historic Thomson-Dougherty Funeral Home of Minneapolis assisted the family with arrangements.
She retired after 44 years of service with the U.S. Post Office. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending functions with the Red Lake Elder group.
She is survived by her sons, William (Pam) Jr., Gary (Carol) and Keith (Polly); daughters, Valerie (Karen), Laura (Tony) and Linda (Joe); daughter-in-law; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Mary Jane (Warren) Standingcloud; former husband, Buddy; brothers, Eugene, Richard and Arnold; sister, Edwina Schultz; and daughter, Wilma Jean.
