Marcel R. Thibeault, 73 of Livingston, Mont., died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Dale Yurkovic officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory.
He was born Feb. 24, 1936, to Raoul and Juliette (Plante) Thibeault in Fauquier, Ontario, Canada. On Nov. 21, 1959, he married Lorraine Parise in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, Canada. He lived in Wisconsin from 1969-1974 when he moved to Bemidji, where he lived until 1981 when he returned to Quebec. In 2006, he moved to Livingston to be near his family. He enjoyed playing golf, coaching youth hockey and fishing and was an active member of Jaycees and the Livingston Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his son, Paul (Tammy) Thibeault of Livingston; daughter, Angie Netzer of Breezy Point, Minn.; sisters, Elsie Thibeault of St. Cecile, Maniwaki, Quebec, Canada, and Lorraine Thibeault of Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife on March 17, 1998.
