BEMIDJI - Maple Ridge Golf Course is expected to open Tuesday while Twin Pines in Bagley is scheduled to start its season March 31.
Greenwood Golf Course welcomed its initial golfers of the season Tuesday and Sandtrap in Cass Lake and the Bemidji Town and Country Club open today.
Longbow Golf Course six miles north of Walker was the first Bemidji area course to start its season as it opened Saturday.
Owner Jeff Zigan of Maple Ridge said the rates will be similar to a year ago. From opening day to Memorial Day Weekend a 9-hole round will be $11 and beginning that weekend the fee will be $13.
For membership rates, tee times and other information golfers can call the course at 751-8401.
At Twin Pines the off-season rates, which run until Memorial Day Weekend, are $10 for nine holes and $15 for 18 holes without a cart and $20 for nine holes and $30 for 18 holes with a cart.
A single season membership will be $310. Memberships are also available for couples and families.
