Man in stable condition after Mahnomen County stabbing
A Bagley man is in stable condition and another Bagley man was arrested after a stabbing late Wednesday evening in Mahnomen County.
Daniel Paul Loftus, 29, was treated for a stab wound at the Mahnomen Health Care Center, later transferred to MeritCare hospital in Fargo for surgery, and was listed in stable condition Thursday afternoon, according to the Mahnomen County Sheriff's Department.
David Michael Hare, 24, was arrested following the stabbing, which was reported about 11:48 p.m. at Riverland Apartments in Mahnomen County.
Charges are pending with the Mahnomen County Attorney's Office.
The sheriff's office received a 911 emergency call reporting a fight in progress at the apartment building, and almost immediately received another call reporting the stabbing.
