Man killed along Highway 89

The identity of the individual killed in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday evening near Fourtown has been released.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Thief River Falls:

Paul G. Himmer, 68, of Apple Valley, Minn., died when the semitrailer he was driving west on state Highway 89 ran off the north side of the road and overturned in a ditch full of water.

The accident was reported at 4:55 p.m. on Highway 89 one mile west of Fourtown in Beltrami County.
