Man injured in Itasca County crash

A 58-year-old Max, Minn., man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Itasca County.

The crash occurred at about 2:22 p.m. on Highway 46 in Squaw Lake, about 26 miles north of Deer River.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Virginia:

Bradley R. Anderson was driving a 1990 Toyota pickup south on Highway 46 when he went off the road to the right, vaulted across a driveway and struck some trees.

Anderson was transported by Deer River Ambulance to Deer River hospital with head and neck injuries. His injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.

Anderson was not wearing his seat belt, and alcohol was not detected in his system.

The vehicle was totaled.
