Randy Joseph Grubich was being held in connection with a suspected murder near Pinewood, Hodapp said.

The death investigation is underway following a report of a body at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 17400 block of Centerline Road Northwest north of Pinewood in Buzzle Township.

Hodapp said a 48-year-old man was found dead on the property.

"We are still awaiting the autopsy results for cause and manner of death, but we know it was a homicide," Hodapp said. An autopsy is being performed by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office, and the victim has yet to be positively identified, he added.

According to a press release earlier Wednesday from the Sheriff's Office:

The circumstances surrounding the death of the male, who has not been identified, have been deemed to be suspicious.

Another male was found on the premises and was taken into custody in connection with the death investigation.

"It's a death with suspicious circumstances," Hodapp said. "Hopefully we can bring a quick resolution to this."

Assisting in the investigation is the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.

Hodapp said an autopsy is planned. More information will be released today.
