Mahnomen County man hurt in farm accident in stable condition

Mahnomen County Sheriff Doug Krier reported today that his oiffice received a 911 call about 1:20 p.m. Thursday concerning Eugene Bisek, 58, who was working on a farm located about five miles south of the city of Mahnomen. Bisek was hauling equipment when the equipment knocked him off the tractor he was driving. Bisek was taken by Lifeflight to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, N.D., and later transferred to Regions Hospital in Minneapolis, where he remains today in stable condition.

Responded to the accident were Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office, White Earth Police Department, Mahnomen Health Center Ambulance and MeritCare Lifeflight.
