Luepke Named USDA Rural Development Civil Servant of Year
Kathy Luepke was recently selected as USDA Rural Development's Civil Servant of the Year.
Luepke began her career as an office assistant in 1999 and currently serves as an area specialist in Rural Development's Bemidji office.
Luepke works throughout the Bemidji region to deliver Rural Development programs that improve infrastructure, facilities, businesses and housing in rural communities. She also is active in the local and national chapter of the Association of Credit Specialists. As an area specialist, Luepke has helped Rural Development invest more than $2 billion in Minnesota since 2009.
The Civil Servant of the Year Awards program honors outstanding Minnesota federal employees who have demonstrated exceptional performance and dedication as public servants.
