Lucille Muller, 83, of Guthrie, died Friday, Jan., 23, 2009, at her home.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Guthrie Community Bible Church in Guthrie with the Rev. Brian Dent and the Rev. Steven Rembold officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. Spring burial will be in Hart Lake Cemetery in rural Cass Lake under the direction of Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Muller, Phillip Bryant, Paul Muller, Jed Muller, Justin Muller, Shannon Muller, Chris Muller and Adam Muller.
She was born Nov. 2, 1925, to Otto and Martha (Steindorf) Smith in Guthrie. She graduated from Bemidji High School in 1943. She married Lawrence Muller May 4, 1946.
She was a member of Guthrie Community Bible Chapel, Hubbard County Home Extension and the Hubbard County Council for Aging. She was named Hubbard County Outstanding Senior Citizen in 2002. She enjoyed hand work, embroidery, gardening, and most of all her family, and friends.
She is survived by her sons, LeRoy Muller of Guthrie, Larry (Ruth) Muller of San Antonio, Texas, John (Brenda) Muller of Raymond, Minn.; daughters, Sharon Muller of Willmar, Mary (Brad) Fischer of Laporte; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter, a grandson, Steven Muller; a daughter-in-law, sisters, Vern Blatter, Doris Franson, Myrtle Krotzer, and a brother, Ted Smith.
