Lucille Kelly, 89, of Bemidji, MN, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at GoldPine Home, Bemidji.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Aardahl Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Rev. Mary Marotte officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Aardahl Lutheran Cemetery, Bemidji.
Lucille Irene Moe was born, along with her twin brother Lyle, on July 30, 1924 to Martin and Adelia Moe. She attended Cloverleaf School near Bemidji. She married Floyd Kelly on June 10, 1950. Lucille cooked at Sniders Caf and then the Union Station until her retirement in 1988. Floyd passed away June 15, 1997, and Lucille remained on the farm until she moved in 2003 to Baker Park Apartments. She made lots of new friends there and enjoyed going for walks, playing cards and visiting. She lived there for 10 years. The summer of 2013 she moved to GoldPine Home and was there until her passing.
Family would like to thank the Baker Park staff and residents, GoldPine home staff and Hospice for all the kindness and care they gave Lucille. She was truly blessed to have you in her life.
Surviving siblings wish to thank niece-in-law, Kelly Anderson and cousin, Arlyce Stanko for their extraordinary care and kindness showed to Lucille.
Lucille is survived by her brother, Rueben (Elsie) Moe; sister, Arlene Decker; sisters-in-law, Lois Moe and Mary Ellen Moe; brother-in-law Robert Anderson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; sisters, Ione Anderson and Darlene Stenson; brothers, Earl, Arnold, Willie and Lyle Moe and brothers-in-law, Earl Decker and Rollie Stenson.
